There are video lessons, which help you grasp the essence of playing drums. You can thus play along with the video and compare the tunes and sounds to learn and master drums.

Once you are comfortable with the basic techniques involved in drumming, you can go in for customization. Customization will help you develop your own personal style.

The important thing is to be patient and persevere. Learning any art forms requires lots of practice and hard work. So, you need to keep with it and not lose hope. It is also important to keep practicing the basics while learning new beats; keeping these two in balance goes a long way to build your self-confidence.
